　　Cowards die many times before their deaths；

　　The valiant never taste[1] of death but once.

　　Of all the wonders that I yet have heard，

　　It seems to me most strange that men should fear，

　　Seeing that death， a necessary end，

　　Will come when it will come.

　　1.诗人用taste，对死亡轻描淡写。表示对于英雄来说，死亡就象品尝一种食物一般平淡无奇。

　　[简介] 作者 William Shakespeare威廉。莎士比亚（1564-1616），是英国历史上最伟大的剧作家和诗人。也是世界文学史上最伟大的天才作家之一。此诗节选自莎士比亚的名剧《尤里西斯·恺撒》。通过剧中主人公的独白，诗人想表现一种对待死亡的豪爽与慷慨，同时斥责人性的不完善，而讴歌勇猛与果敢的英雄气概。这首诗使用了英雄体heroic couplet.文风及内容搭配和谐。
